5 Questions to ask:

What are services like?

You’ll mosey on in, and grab a comfy chair. Feel free to bring in your favorite morning beverage as long as it has a nice tight lid. We’ll begin at 10:00 am and it’ll last about an hour and 10 minutes.  Our music is primarily contemporary but we also value those good ol' time favorites that we grew up with. During the service you will also experience relevant biblical teaching, prayer and other creative elements designed to help people hear from God and respond to Him. The goal of our worship time is to prepare all who attend to be encouraged, be inspired, be challenged, and be transformed through the love of Jesus.

When / How do I get there?

Service starts at 10:00 am, but you might want to get there a bit early to get the kids checked in and grab some coffee.  We’re located at the corner of Park & Elm • 6339 Elm St., Ellsworth, MI 49729. Click here for directions.

What do I wear?

Come as you are!  Don't dress up unless you want.  Some people worship in jeans and a shirt while others choose to wear their Sunday best.  You will find a mix of everything here.  God doesn't care about your clothes; He cares about your heart.  So, if you have a heart to know more about Christ, come as you are and worship with us. Really, we’re much more concerned with getting to know you as a person than what you’re wearing.  We recommend you wear whatever you’re comfortable with and you’ll fit right in!

What about my kids?

We think it’s tragic for children to dislike church because of boring, mediocre children’s programs.  So, while you are enjoying the main worship service, we’ve created a safe, age-appropriate environment where your kids can learn about God in ways they will love or they we welcome them in the worship service.

How can I get more involved?

We realize that God is with us every day, not just Sundays, and we want you to be able to engage with God, and others, throughout the week.  Here are some great ways that you can get involved in life at Ellsworth Wesleyan:

  • There are outreach opportunities throughout the year that you and your family can get involved in.  This is a chance for our church to show the love of Christ to our community.  For more info stay tuned to the weekly bulletin and monthly calendar.

  • You can even worship through serving in one of our Ministries, no experience required!  Talk to Pastor Chris to find the place that is right for you.

  • Finally, you can connect with us via Facebook.
